Trail Overview
This directional segment of Beaverslide #52 is a double black diamond descent that should be ridden south to north. The trail is extremely narrow, heavily overgrown, and visibility is often limited through thick brush. It drops steeply almost immediately, with embedded rocks and slick, crisscrossing roots forming natural diagonal drop-offs that can be several feet tall. The trail is deeply troughed in places, with steep, root-filled switchbacks and narrow side-hilling in between. Early in the descent, scenic views open up over the hillside before the route ducks back into dense vegetation. This trail drops almost 600 feet in elevation over .7 miles.
