Trail Overview

Trail 93, rated double black diamond, is one of the most challenging trails in the Buckhorn system. Starting off the 4x4 Buckhorn Loop, it includes fast, flowy stretches through high desert terrain mixed with numerous moderate to difficult rock obstacles. Riders will encounter multiple series of ledges ranging from 1 to 3 feet high, narrow rock pinches between scenic outcroppings, and a steep descent with tight curves. A particularly technical section traverses a hillside with boulders embedded diagonally across the trail, making lining up to the obstacle more difficult. Additional features include narrow tree pinches and steep climbs. Ride this trail with Trails 92 and 94 for a more advanced ride.
