Trail 83 is an easy route that winds tightly through dry forested terrain with sagebrush and mature ponderosa pine. The trail features large whoops and closely spaced trees, creating a narrow, shaded path. Minor elevation changes occur along small hills, but the route remains mostly flat with no significant obstacles, making it very easy and suitable for all skill levels.
