Trail Overview
Trail 82 is a directional downhill trail running south to north for 0.9 miles, beginning at a high-elevation ridgeline with stunning mountain views. The trail quickly turns into a steep, narrow descent with deep troughs, tight side-hilling, and significant exposure. Riders will encounter tight, steeply pitched switchbacks lined with roots, logs, loose rocks, and stumps, creating natural technical drop-offs. The route becomes progressively more challenging as it continues downward, with potential for downed logs and little margin for error. The trail drops almost 1,000 feet in elevation over .9 miles.
Difficulty
This is an advanced trail due to sustained steepness, technical root and log features, and tight switchback navigation on a narrow slope.
