Trail Overview

Trail 71 is a 1-mile moderate route that is more technical than nearby trails, with ATVs not recommended. The trail features loose pumice stone and embedded volcanic rock layers that create small, jagged ledges and drop-offs up to a foot tall. Tight turns and uneven surfaces require more precise handling. The path winds past scenic piles of volcanic rock, adding visual interest to this more challenging section of the trail.
