This segment of Trail 64, unmarked at the southern entrance, cuts through a moss-covered, densely forested area with a mix of narrow and wider trail sections. The route is primarily dirt, with gradual descents and occasional root drop-offs, making it a moderate difficulty. Overgrown bushes limit visibility through a lot of the route. The segment of Trail 64 that goes north from here was temporarily closed in June 2025.
