Trail Overview
Trail 41C starts with a wide climb from the north entrance, with rutted embedded rock ledges at the crest of the hill. It narrows into a singletrack on the spine of the mountain, becoming tighter with winding turns and scattered root obstacles. It has a couple more climbing sections with rooty ledges that are dug out, making it hard to find traction. The ride finishes with a flowy, though still fairly steep, descent. While technical in spots, this trail is a more approachable option for confident intermediate riders compared to the steeper black diamond routes nearby. This trail can be ridden in either direction with similar difficulty.
