37 Spring Trail is an ideal, short, and rugged offroad route for beginners and experienced four-wheel-drive owners seeking unmatched solitude in a beautiful old-growth Ponderosa Pine forest. Stretching approximately 0.85 miles, this path offers a quick but scenic detour that leads directly to the peaceful oasis of Three-Seven Spring. The trail winds through remote, park-like clearings with elevations ranging between 5,400 and 5,580 feet, gaining about 174 feet along its brief course. Located approximately 35 miles north of Burns, Oregon, in a secluded portion of the forest, it provides offroaders, including high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles and SxSs, with a quiet escape from more crowded trails in the region. With a technical rating of 2, the trail is relatively easy but presents a moderately rough surface characterized by unpaved dirt, large ruts, and scattered rocks up to 12 inches in size. Drivers should expect a slow and bumpy ride along Forest Service Road 874, which connects to Road 872 in the north and terminates near Road 843 and Three-Seven Spring to the south.
