Trail Overview

Sycamore Creek can be run as an in-and-out trail or you can connect with many other trails in the area and travel right on through these trails get narrow and challenging, so beware. There are a few low spots that seem to always have a little mud and when it rains, they will become impossible, especially the Creek crossing on the far western side of this trail. You can also find a nice camp spot about a quarter mile off of Lennox Ridge Road. Overall a fun easy trail running through the Quachita National Forest.

Difficulty

There are a couple of muddy spots with some ruts, but nothing too serious. There is one narrow Creek crossing that dips down about four or five feet during heavy rains, which will be impassible if ridden after heavy rains. The entire trail is in a low-lying area, so be aware of rainfall.

Trail was clear, downed trees near Lennox trail have a bypass now. Made it though the entire trail in a stock 4runner. Only a few technical spots, most of this trail is pretty relaxed but the tough spots are tough. Water crossing is super low right now, very easy. Fun trail!

If you were taking Lenox trail and passed White rock to get on Sycamore creek trail you would run into a lot of big downed trees that are impassable. It looks like a tornado came through.

Camp spots at the beginning before the trail, a few mud holes and tight over growth after you stray down the path towards white rock. Fun trail that runs next to sycamore creek. A couple off shoots to explore in the area if your wheel base will allow you.
