This trail crosses mostly rocky grassland with scattered small trees. Some sections have steep grades, loose gravel, and small ledges, while the route generally provides plenty of room for larger side-by-sides and trucks. Office hours are approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, with later hours on Fridays to accommodate visitors arriving after work. If the office is closed, rides can be booked online to receive proof of purchase by email, or payment can be made using the cash drop box next to the office door.
