Trail Overview

This trail is a tertiary gravel road that winds through the Amish Community with significant changes in elevation and sharp terms. Be aware of oncoming vehicle horse and foot traffic in the area as it is heavily Amish residential. Some of the sections at the end of this road get very steep with blind turns. The area is known for ginseng and mushroom foraging. This route also pass is the very end of the stone quarry near the creek crossing.

Beautiful views on this route!! Trail/Road was in good condition!! Didn’t need 4x4 on the entire Trail/Road. Some washboarding, mud but, mostly gravel.

Nice drive along the river, some gravel road some asphalt. Ended at a really nice covered bridge over the river. I hopped off the trail there to head back up to Youngstown
