Trail Overview
The Superior Corridor Trail is the longest OHV trail in the Ironton Ranger District of Wayne National Forest, offering a challenging, multi-feature ride with a 50-inch vehicle width limit and access to historic cement factory ruins.
Difficulty
These trails can be narrow with steep, tight switchbacks, allowing only one vehicle to traverse. All trails are two-way. Look and listen for other riders that may be coming the other direction before attempting those sections.
History
The trail passes near the remnants of the Superior Cement Factory, a historic industrial site in the region. A short spur trail provides close access to these ruins.
Access Description
A Wayne National Forest trail permit is required for all OHVs, which can be purchased online, at the Wayne National Forest Headquarters, or from select local vendors. All trails in the Ironton Ranger District have a strict vehicle width restriction of 50 inches.
