Trail Overview

If your looking for a quick trail to ride to get a little dirty then this is a good one. First you enter a gravel road that looks like it goes into the middle of no where. As you travel down the road you will find yourself in a quite part of Wayne national, along with many rutted muddy puddles and quite a few big mud holes off to the side to play in. You will come up to a fork in the road with a small flooded spot that has few inches of water coming across the road. Make sure at the fork you stay to the right as there's a sign that says to stay off the over grown path to the left. Once you start going up the dirt trail you will find more ruts and some rocks and mud pits to climb over. You will drive down a long dirt trail for some time with more mud to play in and a lot of wildlife known in the area to see.As your Driving farther and farther into Wayne national forest you will take a left at another fork in the road to make the loop to go back the same way traveled up. There are other ways to go with many split offs to make different trails.

Difficulty

Some tall slick rock ledges and slippy mud and in bad weather make it even harder.

After the half way point the road gets pretty rough, we followed this all the way to the end past were ONX shows and it gets worse the farther you go. But ultimately it’s a dead end oil road. Some serious hill climbs at the end. And very over grown.

Half way thru the trail there’s a sign that says no vehicle past this sign and do not block lane. Trail continues with no barricade or fence but didn’t want to risk it.

Please. Do not bring your Toyota RAV4. Ruts and mud with slick hills and having to split the road this is a good 1 person trail if experienced. Have 2 people come in to test your luck. The trail splits in a few places. Be prepared to back down a few times to get the right path. The off shoots are not marked. Water crossing is amazing area is beautiful.

You will have a chance to go through a little creek at the very beginning and then just some dirt roads. The trail will become very narrow after a “no vehicle beyond this point” sign. Wasn’t ready to get scratches on my truck so we just turned around.

Great trail with a small river in the beginning. Everything is fine until the very end that has a very extreme hill with rutted out sections. It's a good starter trail for new off-roaders with a 4x4 vehicle, but I would not attempt the hill at the very end unless you are really confident in your offroading skills and have a spotter. Hill in picture above, camera doesn't do it justice on how steep it is.

this trail offers a good amount of mud holes with a foot or so depth. they appear to have the end part of the trail closed marked by signs stating no vehicles beyond this point. two pictures are from past the sign. off camber hill climb washed out down to rock on passenger side.
