Trail Overview

This trail is a fun one even if it's a down-and-back short trip due to unmaintained roads and trees blocking one way. You first start by going into a small section of mud and ruts before you come up a very steep hill to climb. When you get to the top of the hill you will come up some old oil wells and split off to a road closed due to trees. There you will find some sharp switchbacks that take you into the pines. It's there you will find some more mud and spectacular views of Wayne national forest as you travel down the trail you will see plenty of rocks and cliffs overlooking the forest. You will keep descending deeper into the national forest. Once down that you will continue down the muddy trail until you come to a dead end with a giant oil drum and a wonderful lookout where you can see nothing but the woods for miles.

this is NOT an easy trail....very narrow, steep...tight turns and deep mud.....even though my truck is lifted and modded with a winch....the downhill slope looked pretty crazy and we turned it around.... this trail is no joke...the mud is super slippery and the angles are steep. better have a winch and a another 4x4 to help you if you get stuck....

very muddy and slick. few trees were down and partially cleared one. taller vehicles may not make it all the way.

After it rains there’s a lot of mud. Leave room for the slick hills sharp turns and possibly some mud flying. Easy trail for a beginner. Be prepared for a few pin stripes. But nothing bad.

There were some sharp turns and steep hills but nothing too crazy. A good starter trail for stepping into some technical stuff. There was a small muddy area to play around at the end of the trail but also has a strong smell of gas in the air, so we didn’t stay long there.

Absolutely perfect beginner trail! Could not recommend more for anyone that's starting in offroading. Low chance of pin stripes, nice up terrain, good amount of sand, no crazy dip areas.
