Trail Overview

This 2/10 gravel road has been recently restored, granting easy access to the Nantahala National Forest. Its narrow and winding length climbs the mountains quickly, so Four Wheel Drive is encouraged to help maintain the integrity of the road. There is a pull-off at its southernmost point, where it connects with the National Forest, with views of the surrounding mountains. Keep a sharp eye out for oncoming traffic since there are no places to bypass other vehicles.

Trail was in good shape but a big note. The hill is very steep with loose gravel. On a larger adventure motorcycle it was a little more difficult. I would rate this closer to a 4 or 5 difficulty for larger motorcycles.
