Trail Overview

This is another offshoot of the Pettiford Creek Main Trail, within the Pettiford Creek State Forest near the Croatan National Forest. This trail offers access to hunting grounds, beautiful views, and wildlife in national and state parks. This trail features multiple mud pits that can be very deep or have standing water depending on rainfall, it should be noted these pits cannot be avoided and could result in vehicles getting stuck. Most of the trail can be driven rather quickly, however, be cautious and look for other drivers, hikers, or animals throughout the trail.
