Top gate closed. Max patch had heavy equipment grading the road.

So the gate at max patch rd was locked, access at I40 was open. We entered at Wesley creek and rode towards I40.

Will be closed until October 2027, do not go.

Gate is closed at interstate

Gate closed on both ends trail. Probably gonna be graded and not challenging Anymore when it's opened. I'm sad. You wouldn't grade Moab :(

THIS TRAIL (FS 233 HAYNES RD/HURRICANE CREEK) IS CLOSED UNTIL OCTOBER 2027!! DO NOT GO ON THIS TRAIL!

Trail is open. Great trail to go on. Not a difficult trail at all. Great views and some water crossings. Did it with front sway bar disconnected and no lockers. It was my girlfriend’s first time on a trail and she really enjoyed it.

Los recidentes de ahi se molestan si dejas abierto, se respetuoso con la naturaleza, no contamines y no pongas musica a muy alto volumen, respeta los vecinos ,. Porcierto es muy buen lugar para recorrer 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Trail is NOT open for travel for anyone other than residents or construction crews. Ames and McKenzie construction companies are currently working on trail restoration in the surrounding area. There are several posted warnings not to enter the trails in the area. -sincerely, a local wheeler who's been running the trail for years and is driving a dump truck on the restoration project.

There is a gate at the beginning of trail that has a lock and chain but it’s not actually attached to anything. I’m pretty sure the locals have it there to make it look like it’s locked so people won’t go on the trail. I called the local forest service and they confirmed the trail is open and that we could open the gate. There’s a several camp sites with fire rings. We stayed at the second campsite along the way which was enough to accommodate for five rigs. There’s a creek that runs all along the trail and campsites. About halfway through there is some private property that you have to drive by. We met one of the locals and they kept telling us we’d get locked out if someone locked the gate as of he was trying to scare us off. We saw multiple more rigs come through. We drove from Winston salem, I’d say it was definitely worth it! Very beautiful camp spot.
