Trail Overview

Great Lake Road travels through Croatan National Forest, ending at Great Lake. This route is well-maintained and passable by any vehicle. While traveling the route, drivers will cross several small wooden bridges that cross small water streams that show age but are stable. Where the road ends, there is a small boat ramp.

once you make it to the boat ramp tucked away just to the left of it is a trail. it's mostly sand, water and mud it gets pretty technical fast would seriously recommend 4x4 with quite a bit of gound clearance and would definitely recommend good tires and a locker.
