Beech Creek Road - FS 307

FSR-307, Beech Creek Road, is a well-maintained, out-and-back trail that winds along the shores of Persimmon Lake within the Nantahala National Forest. This easy, gravel-based trail offers a peaceful ride through the forest with several opportunities to gain access to the lake. There is a mixed-use area with picnic tables, fire pits, and multiple sites designated for tent camping. The area has excellent cell service. Murphy, North Carolina, is a mere minutes away and offers plenty of amazing food options and lodging to plan a multiple-day trip. Legally licensed vehicles permitted.
