Trail Overview
Trail 1A at Brushy Mountain Motorsports Park is an 11-mile main OHV route offering a diverse and challenging ride. The trail begins with a rocky climb next to a creek, featuring loose cobble and shallow ruts filled with rocks. Riders will encounter sharp corners with embedded rock faces and shelfy traversing sections. While the route includes some easier, less rocky segments with tight, twisty turns, it also presents a couple of technical challenges that are larger rock obstacles. A notable split lane obstacle provides an alternative around a difficult rock climb, which is a steep ascent with a couple of foot-tall rock ledges, off-camber sections, and tricky tree roots. Slick conditions and limited traction in spots make for a challenging climb. This lengthy route takes a couple of hours to complete, but several shortcuts are available to reduce mileage. The trail zigzags all the way back to the office, ensuring a rewarding ride for intermediate OHV drivers.
Difficulty
This is an intermediate OHV route due to several moderate rock obstacles, sharp corners, and frequent loose rocky sections. However, the trail remains gradual throughout the 11-mile route.
