Started from the south. The trail was pretty dry and I had to hang back from some fellas in pickups ahead of me for the beginning. The rocks were just big enough to be fun, didn’t make contact at all on 35’s, but did see some rocks that had been scraped by lower vehicles. I did 99% in 2H/4H. There was one small spot I put it in 4L, but probably didn’t need to. The “water crossing” by the bracer dam was almost dry, just not a lot of rain recently. I think the 3/10 rating holds true.

The trail was relatively dry compared to how it can be. The bridge/water crossing was fairly low. The are dry ruts in the parts where it can get muddy so beware if you're on a motorcycle. I was able to easily navigate the ruts on my CRF but they could get worse when it gets muddy again. I was the only one out today and had the whole trial to myself. Very nice ride.

Warm sunny day, trail was dry in areas muddy and wet in others. Gnats were bad!! Handful of others on the trail. Overall great experience especially for my first time, with my new suspension

Nothing too technical, had to steer around some medium objects, but generally a four-wheel-drive with reasonable clearance and decent tires should make it. If conditions were worse, this trail would have been more difficult.(I.e. Heavy rain, snow) I did not have to place his vehicle in four-wheel-drive, H4F/AWD in 4Runner Limited was sufficient to tackle everything. Some areas were bumpy as others mentioned, but taking it slow should be more than sufficient.

Day after heavy rain so the trail had some good puddles. Drove in my stock 2023 Tacoma and had a handful of close calls with scraping the underside, would recommend a spotter or some pretty good ground clearance. A couple of small optional muddy passes in the cleared sections came as a nice surprise. Look to be made for ATV/UTV but wide enough I could pass in my truck. A good place to learn how to wheel.

Smooth for the first mile or so then got a bit rocky. Nothing big, had the suspension raised up for extra clearance but don’t think it was needed. Very bumpy, would be better if I had aired down. Deer flies were everywhere, couldn’t step out the vehicle without being swarmed.

Trail starts out rather smooth, and is a seasonal road, about 1 mile in, softball size rocks start to show themselves. As the trail progresses, those rocks start to grow, nothing to major, just needed to watch the speed as I was rocking out in Taco TRD Off Road. Those on ATVs could navigate faster, and generally there was enough room to pass. Highlight of the trail is definitely the beaver dam, and culvert, then coupled with an approach to wooden bridge, makes it an easy going adventure. After the culvert, there’s a mud pit to earn play around in. Despite the easy trail, definitely need some clearance and not for AWD or 2WD

I don’t know if this is a permanent or temporary but i tried to access the trail on the southern side and there are Jersey barriers blocking the road.

To my surprise, Was much more snowed over than lake Lazurne area. Did not go in further than this photo. There Was a trespassing sign but was not sure if it included road access. Came in on left of tannery road east of carogo.

Unknown status of trail. There is a sign on the seasonal limited use highway sign saying “snowmobiles only”

This is a somewhat short trail through the gorgeous Adirondack mountains. The trail itself had some rough patches so if you don’t have decent ground clearance you should avoid it. There are deep ruts in the snow as well as several creek crossings. I didn’t get to see any animals but this was my first time doing this activity in my own truck by myself. There was some construction at the beginning of the trail but they let me pass no problem tho they did make sure I knew what I was doing since they had not seen a woman go back there before. 10 out of 10 provided you have a real SUV and not one of those hybrid things. You will get stuck I assure you. At least until the snow melts. And fair warning, you will have a signal at the beginning of the trail but at the end you will have to drive for about 15 minutes before you can connect again.
