Mutton Hollow Road

This hard-packed gravel road provides an easy and scenic drive into the forest, with a few rocky and bumpy sections along the way. As you continue, you’ll encounter some larger potholes and dips, so take your time through these areas. A small offshoot climb on the left leads to a nice level campsite tucked into the woods. The main road continues on a moderate grade, steadily climbing deeper into the forest with some occasional bumps but no technical obstacles. The trail also provides access to multiple hiking trailheads and connecting forest roads, making it a great option for exploring the area. Wildlife is common here, and we spotted a large buck while driving this route.
