McCarty Hill East Forest Road

This smooth dirt-and-gravel road provides access to the McCarty State Forest trailhead and several hiking trailheads along the way. The route follows alongside a ravine, with nice views of the surrounding hills and open sky to the right. The surface remains smooth for most of the drive, with only a few minor bumps and no technical obstacles. The road eventually ends at a large roundabout in an open clearing. There also appears to be some active logging in the area, so be aware of work vehicles and changing conditions around the trailhead.
