Trail Overview

This packed gravel road heads deep into the heart of the state forest, offering a quiet and scenic drive through dense woods. While the road is a bit rough in places, it remains non-technical throughout. The route features a gradual rocky descent with a few potholes, minor ruts, and small washouts, with the downhill turns providing the bumpiest sections. The road continues over gentle rolling hills as it winds through the forest, making for an enjoyable drive with changing scenery. The final stretch climbs steadily up a hill before ending at a large, secluded campsite. Surrounded by forest, it's a peaceful spot to spend the night with a good chance of seeing wildlife.
