Hungry Hollow Road

This trail starts as a smooth dirt and gravel road climbing into the forest, with private land on both sides of the beginning section before entering state forest land. Be sure to stay on the main road and respect all posted property boundaries. The route rolls over gentle hills before descending back into the forest, with a beautiful open view of the surrounding hills just after passing CCC Truck Road. As you continue deeper into the forest, the road becomes a bit rockier and bumpier, making for a rougher ride but nothing technical. The site has several designated campsites, along with an outhouse, pavilion, and picnic tables. Overall, this is a peaceful forest drive with plenty of great camping opportunities and a little local history along the way.
