The route travels through a mix of wooded terrain and open hilltop meadows, providing a variety of landscapes and scenic views. Riders will travel on a combination of gravel, hard-packed dirt, natural soil, and loose stone surfaces while winding through dense hardwood growth before emerging into rolling fields and elevated sections overlooking the surrounding countryside. Seasonal mud holes, standing water, and rutting may be encountered throughout the area, especially after periods of rain. A valid Lewis County ATV trail permit is required to ride this trail.
