Trail Overview

Entering off Route 42, the trail will be marked with a town road and maintenance sign at the entrance. During Winter the entrance may be blocked by a snowbank. The trail is single-vehicle wide with limited spots to pull over. Snow accumulation during Winter makes trails extremely difficult. Downed trees will be encountered. The trail is a town road that passes through private property. Please stick to the trail and tread lightly.

Entered via the north end off of the trail and greeted by the “No Motorized Vehicles “ signs as seen in others posts. Assumed that meant ATV and dirt bikes off trail? Took the run anyway, a short 1+ mile run to Rt 42. Some ruts and tight spots but a pretty easy trail overall.

Read that the trail was obstructed so I took a brief road trip to take a look. I removed larger obstructions and cleared debris throughout the trail as I went. Did the trail both ways.

About .4 miles in there is a tree down. I didn’t have my saw and too late in the day to winch it. Maybe next week.

the trail going north end had some snow fall and made my 2wd really work to get uphill after the one mud hole, alot of dead & fallen small trees so I would proceed with caution during wintertime
