Trail Overview
This ATV trail is an easier option within the trail system in the Lincoln National Forest. It is mostly gradual for the entire 3-mile route, meandering through a pine forest and grassy, wide-open meadows. The trail connects Wills Canyon on the north end to Agua Chiquita Road on the south end. It’s mostly smooth dirt with shallow ruts for the northern half, but it gets a little rockier on the south end as it starts climbing up to connect with the road, with loose chunky rock in the trail, all packed down. The trail is mostly wide open instead of forested, but there were still a few small logs down that were easy to ride over. There is always potential for more log hazards, though.
Difficulty
This is an easier ATV trail as it remains very gradual throughout the entire route. This trail is not particularly rocky and is free of any major obstacles, making it more ideal for less experienced riders.
