The Causeway

The Causeway begins just past the entrance to Hidden Valley and immediately begins with a steep dirt climb that keeps gaining in elevation and is littered with small loose rocks. As you continue to climb and reach the plateau, a nice overlook of the Quebradas and surrounding areas awaits. As quickly as you come up, the trail begins to descend rapidly as you drop back into the wash below. The descent is rather steep and again covered with loose boulders. The Causeway is typically run as a connector or can be used to split from those in your group who do not wish to run some of the harder trails, as it converges where many trails begin/end.
