Riley S. FSR 354

Riley S. FSR 354 runs almost the entire distance from Magdalena to the ghost town of Riley in the north. There are no large obstacles along the road, but there are sections of severe washboarding and some soft sand that appear to be small washes. The majority of the road is wide enough for two vehicles except the last few miles towards the north where sections are very narrow with almost no room to pass. The views of the mountains to the north and the east are extremely wide-open and amazing. Further north on the road, the terrain begins to change from low-level hills to larger rock formations, canyons, and arroyos. The road continues into the town of Riley and eventually changes from FSR 354 to CR 12/Riley Road.
