Powerline

This is a fun dirt trail with many hills in steep grades, rutted areas, and some moderate off-camber areas. There are many varieties of lines to take, and offshoots to other trails from this trail, and a couple of spots with immediate drop-offs once you hit the top of the hill. This trail follows the powerlines in Santa Fe Recreation Area to Diablo Canyon Recreation Area. Lockers were used to prevent terrain damage on the climbs, but not necessary. When coming from the Diablo Canyon side, the beginning portion is a basic dirt road which takes you alongside private property to get to the Powerline Trail. You do not enter Private Property.
