Trail Overview
This is a short ATV trail that is 0.8 miles long. It is very gradual and wide, going along a grassy and flat shelf along a hillside. The trail is 20 to 30 feet wide at times. There is potential for a new downfall, especially in the early spring season, but many existing downed trees have already been cut. It looks well-trafficked enough that the trail will likely stay clear of logs. It rides through grassy sections of trail and along scenic rock layers lining the hillside. The west end dead-ends at a private property fence, so you have to ride this as an out-and-back. Although short, this is just an easy trail that can be ridden from the Pines Campground, and is ideal for younger or newer riders. You’ll likely see hikers on the trail from the campground.
Difficulty
This is a very easy trail for ATV riders as it is extremely wide, mostly flat, smooth, and free of any obstacles. It is a great place for newer riders to become familiar with forested terrain.
