Trail Overview

FR1026 is a simple and fun trail with one obstacle, rating it 4. One corner (photo 5) is a tight turn across a wash followed by a short section of 16-degree off-camber trail. This turn potentially holds water, erodes, and becomes deeper during a storm. The rest of FR1026 is a pleasant drive through the Cibola National Forest and offers incredible views of the Magdalena and San Mateo ranges. Connecting to FR1026D makes for a fun loop off of FR330 and would make a great addition to any trip to the area.
