Trail Overview

This 5-mile-long dirt bike trail is an easy singletrack flowing through a flat desert terrain of pinyon bushes, sagebrush, and lots of whoops. It dips into ravines and goes up and down small rolling dirt hills, getting up on small ridgelines. Follow the signs for dirt bike. It crosses the road and picks back up on the other side of the road, a couple of times. The whole trail is very fast and flowy. There aren't any obstacles except for some shallow ruts. It gets wider in spots on some of the ridge lines atop the small dirt hills. At one point it gets onto a powerline road. The trail doesn't have much elevation gain, and it goes pretty straight. It's just a fast desert ripper that helps get you from one end of the trail system to the other. The southernmost 1.5 miles has been widened over the years to road width, although it is still designated for dirt bikes only. It has a couple of moderate ledges on the slickrock, including drop-offs a foot tall, and slickrock faces covered in sand. It also has straight and fast sections paralleling the powerlines, and lots of whoops.
