Trail Overview

Just under a mile long, this short and easy ATV trail descends off of North Star Road on a semi-rocky path, overgrown with grass. It’s mostly a gradual two-track, with a few steeper spots that are covered in softball-sized rocks that make it more interesting. It rides through grassy fields of juniper trees in the beginning, but drops down a couple of hundred feet in elevation to a forest of ponderosa pines, and crosses a couple of small rocky ravines that are very minor. There are several downed logs that have been cut, but there is always potential for new log hazards. The legal trail per the MVUM dead ends after 0.9 miles, but it looks like a more primitive route continues.

Difficulty

This is an easier trail as it has no major obstacles, but it does have minor rocky sections, a semi-steep hill, and a couple of easy ravine crossings. It is still very approachable for newer or younger riders exploring this area.
