Hutchinson Hill

This trail seemed to have more boulders exposed than 2024 but was still fun going up. Aired down to 25 and did it in 4H no lockers, never had wheel slip, but clearance helped running 35s

I see where the trail is green/3 but in the description it is listed at a 5 or 6. For an ADV bike I would rate it at about a 5 or 6 for ADV bikes. This is a short but fun trail. It gets pretty technical in the rocky bits and in a few of the muddy sections but for the most part everything wet was shallow enough to power through, and even with only about eight inches of ground clearance I was able to get through no problem. If you are in a Jeep or truck, beware, a tree had fallen on the trail, and you may have some issues getting past it without a saw or axe. The trail is showing signs of use and lack of maintenance with some of the more rutted up areas but it’s nothing most vehicles wouldn’t be able to handle. All in all I would recommend!

Trail is open, it seems more of a 5/10, deep water because of rain and my 4Runner had some clearance issues with my mudflaps. Was pretty fun though!

Trail is inaccessible due to a large sinkhole at the trailhead going north

I just went in to test the beginning of the trail since the sun was setting. Got to the hill and turned around. Passable and fun. Only issue is that there were several signs saying “no wheeled vehicles” and “no ATVs”. So I’m not 100% sure how if trail is supposed to be open. But I’m new to this hobby and I may not understand the norms.
