Trail Overview

Christmas Tree Pass is a fun, dirt road adventure in the hills above the Colorado River on the Arizona/Nevada border. It is named for a tree on the trail that is decorated with christmas ornaments. This is a relatively easy drive, with the occasional need for 4Lo on the east section when the sand is soft. There are numerous viewpoints with beautiful regional desert vistas. This is rattlesnake territory, so take caution.

Started the run near Laughlin and ended the run at the 95 N to LV. A lot of washboard. Especially on the end 1/4. The petroglyphs are incredible if you decide to hike where the signs tell you it’s an option. Several trees decorated with decorations.
