Trail Overview

Ride this fun and flowy singletrack in connection with Roosters Course and Carpenter Bypass, among other single-track trails on the Pahrump BLM, to make a fun day ride. This recreation area is made up of several short single tracks off of Carpenter Canyon Road and Wheeler Pass that can all be ridden in a day or two. This short trail flows through a scenic and dense Joshua tree forest. It starts on a narrow dirt trail with some loose gravel and dips into a narrow wash that is rockier and slightly trickier to navigate. In the middle of the trail, it runs into a couple of washed-out sections that you have to pick your way through but are generally easy to follow. When going south to north, you'll have a fantastic view of the snow-capped Spring Mountains behind the Joshua Trees. It ends on a road that you can take to connect to the other singletrack trails. Visit in winter for sunny and warm days and to avoid the summer heat.
