Trail Overview

Brunswick Canyon Road is fairly easy;85% of the trail is single vehicle wide with tight switchbacks. Mostly packed gravel trail with areas of loose rocks and a couple of water crossings. The Northern end of the trail transitions into soft sand with a steep grade to reach the trail's end if you're traveling from Johnson Lane.

Coming into Brunswick Canyon from Deer run road can get a little hairy, there's 3 spurs on the trail and all 3 are 45° slopes, one requires a good amount of articulation. The one I made it down in my not yet lifted XJ I do not recommend, There is a spur in the middle that is the most passable but you may not be able to get out this way depending on your rigs capabilities. If this is the case I recommend coming in and leaving out from slightly further down on Deer run road at Sedge overlook

I did it in an adventure bike (Yamaha Tenere 700). Very nice trail. Some deep sand segments were challenging. Nice views and some small and easy water crossings.

Super calm trail. Quite a bit of mud and a couple cool side roads.
