BLM 544

This narrow, sandy trail branches off Cottonwood Creek Road and travels around and over the surrounding hills, offering a different landscape from the creek and valley below. The route provides excellent views of nearby rock formations, mountains, and rolling desert terrain. Expect frequent whoops along with 8–12 inch ruts and washes, some of which can be difficult to see against the sandy trail surface, so drive slowly and carefully. This is a fun, relatively short trail for exploring the area with friends or family. Most capable SUVs should be able to complete the route with careful vehicle placement.
