Trail Overview

Adobe Heights Bypass is an easy trail that connects Mountain City Highway to North 5th Street in Elko, NV. This trail starts as a maintained gravel road and turns into an unmaintained dirt trail. The unmaintained section has some uneven areas with small ruts, but nothing crazy. You will follow power lines as the road turns back into a maintained gravel road on the trail's eastern section. Please be respectful to the residents and travel at appropriate speeds. Some areas on this trail look to be a muddy mess after rain/snow.

This trail was washboarded and peppered with a handful of small ruts and rocks. You get panoramic views of the Ruby Mountains to the south.
