Trail Overview

672 Connector is a short, under half-mile-long ATV trail that links 5702 with 5706A, offering a more technical route through open hillsides in an old burn area. The trail is narrower and features multiple tight switchbacks filled with loose rock, requiring careful maneuvering. The trail is grassy, with wildflowers filling the wide open hillsides. The northern entrance can be easy to miss as it drops off the side of the mountain at the end of 5702, but once on it, riders are rewarded with sweeping hillside views. It's not overly steep, but it will require some more experience on the switchbacks. Although more difficult than the trails it connects, this is a good way to make your day ride a loop, as you can start your ride on Jew Mountain trail, and loop back to the start by taking 5702, and 5706A back to the end of Forest Service Road 5706.
