Trail Overview

This forest service road is a rough, unmaintained dirt path that branches off the main forest service road. Be prepared for large mud pits and heavily rutted areas. When water fills the ruts, they can appear deceptively shallow, making it easy to get stuck. However, most of these areas have bypass routes, allowing you to navigate around them if needed. As the trail nears its end, it becomes narrower, but it eventually opens up, enabling you to turn around. This spot also offers a suitable campsite for 1-2 vehicles.

Difficulty

There are lots of large rutted-out mud holes that are deep and deceptive, with the depth.

A little tighter and less maintained than the main road, several large mud holes with one that went completely across the path, it was about halfway. I didn’t change because I was out by myself. With less rain it would be easily passable in a vehicle with some ground clearance.

Mud holes are iced over and the ground is frozen solid. Definitely do-able, I turned back around about half way through because I was riding solo. Will be perfect next weekend when the weather is warmer!
