Trail Overview

This route follows a wide, graded gravel road that provides an easy and comfortable drive through a scenic wooded landscape. The route is wide enough to avoid the pinstriping common on tighter routes in the area, making it a good option for larger vehicles or anyone wanting a more relaxed ride. Tall trees line much of the road, with occasional open stretches that offer longer views across the countryside. Fencing in these areas helps keep travel on the designated roadway. Along the way, you will pass the historic Old Hail Cemetery, adding a quiet point of interest to an otherwise peaceful backroad connection through the forest.

Difficulty

A smooth, wide gravel road with ample clearance and no technical challenges. Suitable for most vehicles in normal weather. The biggest factors are loose gravel in corners, occasional washboarding, and staying within fenced travel areas. No special equipment or off-road experience is typically required.
