Trail Overview

This is a short trail that branches off the Devreaux Ridge Road trail. It starts pretty smooth, but soon approaches a few drops (approximately 10 inches). It will then lead to a small cave that sits on a hill. Make sure you stop to check it out. After that, you will go through some tight turns, and a short wheelbase or small vehicle helps. The route leads to a small loop that will then head back to where you started. There is another trail that connects, but it is not yet rated and would raise the difficulty.

Difficulty

In this route, you will encounter rocks that are approximately 12 inches high. There are also a few tight turns and low-hanging branches that can scratch bigger vehicles driving by. On rainy or snowy days, it can be difficult to keep traction going up or down hill with the loose dirt.

Trail is Fairly overgrown, if you like your paint I wouldn’t recommend it. About halfway down it is fairly washed out and would likely rate this trail 4-5 out of 10 on difficulty. Especially, as others have said, due to the high drop off, nowhere to turn around until the end, and the about of lean angle you have on some sections.

Narrow, with pinstripping and folded mirror. Full size Bronco just did fit.

This trail quickly deteriorates from 1-2 to a personal judgement of about 5 just due to the level of commitment needed to forge ahead. As others have said, the trail gets tight and will leave some beauty marks, but after the upper spin off above the cave, the left path below becomes off camber to a steep drop on left with tree roots and rock steps increasing the pucker factor. Luckily we were the only ones on the trail, so could back up very carefully. Easy for SxS. Definitely not recommended for RTT highly lifted vehicles in my opinion.

You will encounter rocks approx. 12 inches tall in atleast one spot on this trial that you will have to cross. Once you get passed the large clearing at the very beginning you are committed to this trail there is no turning around mid way. very tight trail. I wouldn't do this in a stock 4x4. you might find yourself needing a spotter to back out!

It was pretty overgrown but still passable. Recent and current rain made it more difficult. Had some scary slippage going up in some spots in 4wheel. Large rocks, narrow trails, and tight turns make this a 3 in difficulty especially in less than ideal weather.

Looks it has been a long time since anyone has been down it. Really over grown and not passable.
