Trail Overview

Sandwinder is named after the long sand chute hill climb in the northern portion of the trail. Run the trail north to south in order to hit it in the uphill direction. The rest of the trail is a series of rolling climbs and descents with rocks and some sandy ruts along the way.

Difficulty

The main challenge on this trail is the sandy/rocky hill climbs. It's not difficult if you maintain speed and drive up the hill, but newer riders or riders without sand experience may find it tricky at first.
