Trail Overview
Pearl Lake is a short, approximately 1-mile route that begins on a main Forest Service road and quickly becomes a narrow, grass-covered two-track. The route includes small rocks, ruts, puddles, off-camber terrain, and close vegetation.
Trees and brush extend close to the driving line, with some branches contacting the vehicle. A small fallen tree approximately 3 inches in diameter was encountered on the trail and was navigable. The route also contains hidden depressions in the grass and becomes increasingly narrow. A small clearing near the end of the field-observed section provides a potential dispersed camping location.
Difficulty
The route has relatively minor obstacles but is narrow and overgrown in places. Small rocks, ruts, puddles, off-camber terrain, and close vegetation require some attention from full-size vehicles.
