Langley West Road

This trail runs mostly straight with a series of moderate ascents and descents. Along the route, there are clear signs of a recent and severe forest fire--burnt tree trunks and charred ground cover still dominate the landscape in places. A large logging operation has cleared a section of forest, and a nearby broad open area may have once served as a staging ground. A couple of smaller trails branch off from the main route, but they appear lightly used and may lead into active logging zones. The trail also provides access to a nearby river. There are no formal or dispersed campsites along the trail, and visitors should not expect any amenities such as trash bins, potable water, or restroom facilities. Cell service may be weak or unavailable entirely, depending on your location.
