Devil Track South Shore Drive

The Devil Track South Shore trail is a narrow, bumpy route composed of gravel and exposed rock, winding through forested terrain with gentle ascents and descents. Along the way, several non-motorized hunter walking trails branch off, indicating the area's popularity with hikers and hunters. The trail maintains a modest grade throughout and is generally passable, though the surface may be uneven in places. Toward the end, the trail reaches an intersection marked by an open gate and a sign indicating that motorized use is prohibited beyond that point. Although the road appears to continue, it transitions into a non-motorized section, and there are a few private residences beyond the gate. It's advisable to turn around at this point to avoid trespassing or disturbing residents.
