Trail Overview

A long forest route that begins as a small, two-lane gravel road before narrowing into a single-lane forest road with grass growing through the center. The route travels deep into the forest with close vegetation that occasionally contacts both sides and the top of the vehicle. Numerous water-filled potholes and muddy sections provide the main challenge, with the deepest observed water-filled pothole approximately 12 inches deep. Downed trees were observed near the road but did not block passage. With approximately 19.1 miles of trail and two spurs along the route, this is a substantial forest drive rather than a short spur. Once committed to the route, there is no outlet, so drivers should be prepared to continue to the end.

Difficulty

Mostly a remote forest-road experience rather than a highly technical trail. Expect muddy sections, water-filled potholes, and close vegetation. Recent rain can substantially change conditions. The long distance and lack of an outlet make preparation and adequate fuel important.
